Rinceoirí Le Chéili Irish Dance Academy has been teaching Irish dancing for over 25 years. Teaching all ages and abilities, boys, girls and pre-schoolers for fun and fitness. We also offer grade exam levels and have a great history and experience of our students competing at dance competitions throughout the world.
For preschool ages at some of our locations. These classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of Irish dancing through movement and music, props, play and lots of fun. Contact us to find out when we will be starting the next course.

The ambition, drive, hard work and passion of all the teachers at Rinceoirí Le Chéile Irish Dance Academy has helped the Academy to grow to the success it is today. We have dancers aged 3-25, enjoying dance classes across Scotland and England.
We are proud to have produced numerous champion dancers & world medallists in both solo and ceili competitions. A number of our dancers have toured worldwide featuring in renowned Irish Dance shows. We are extremely proud of all our students past and present. We pride ourselves in passing on our years of experiences to our students which is demonstrated by the success of the Academy in awards and competitions.
My girls have been dancing with the Rinceoiri le Cheile dance school for the past 9 years. They have the absolutely best teachers in Laura, Michelle, Judith (and Kerry who assists in our St Albans classes). Irish dance has taught them confidence, discipline and skill. Irish dancing is a competitive sport, it keeps the body and mind healthy. The girls just love to dance and make us all so proud at competitions, displays and functions. Rinceoiri le Cheile is an amazing dance school and brings so much joy to those who are part of it. We feel very lucky to be part of such a great dance school.
My daughter has danced for Rinceoiri le Cheile since she was 4, she is now coming up to 12!! Not only has she learned so much from the amazing teachers; Laura, and assisted by Kerry; as well as Michelle and Judith during the pandemic zoom classes. She has made forever friends and gained so much confidence. The only club she has stuck with. Laura is an amazing teacher and also great at getting the group together socially. We would be lost without our dance family.
Amelia, aged 2, has recently joined jump n jig. Her auntie used to dance for the school and we were delighted to upkeep Irish Dancing within the family. Amelia comes home after every class ecstatic and eager to learn more. Her dance teacher, Michelle truly accommodates all ages and levels, and has helped Amelia develop her skills, both physical and mentally. She has learned how to keep in time with the music and learned new movements, all whilst using toys and equipment suitable for her age. She has lots of fun, alongside her friends where she has been able to communicate and learn how to work as part of a team! We look forward to Amelia furthering her dancing and learning!
